INSTRUCTIONS FOR ABSTRACT PREPARATION

CATEGORIES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
- MD postgraduates in any discipline
- DM Super specialty postgraduates in any discipline
- Practicing physicians in any discipline (Including departments with academic programs)
HOW TO SUBMIT:
- LANGUAGE: English
- FONT: Times New Roman, Font Size 12. WORD LIMIT: 250 words. Excluding title, names of the author (s) and institutions. There is a 75-character limit for the title of your abstract submission.
- STRUCTURE OF THE ABSTRACT: should contain
- a. TITLE: The title of the abstract must be typed in CAPITAL LETTERS with the exception of scientific names, which should be in upper and lower case forms and italicized.
- b. Objectives: State the main objective of the study
- c. Materials and methods: Briefly describe the design of the study and how it was conducted
- d. Results: Present the main results with appropriate statistics
- e. Conclusion: Limit the conclusions to those that are directly supported by the results.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SUBMITTING ABSTRACT:
- Abstracts will be accepted from only those who have registered for HORMONE RHYTHM 2026, Davanagere
- Only electronic submissions will be accepted. Supporting documentation will not be accepted by email.
- The deadline is 31st May 2026. There will be no exceptions for missed deadlines.
- Once submitted an abstract may not be edited.
- An abstract which is previously published in a journal at the time of submission is not acceptable.
- Before copying and pasting information from Word into the forms, remove all special formatting.
PRESENTING AUTHOR DETAILS:
- The presenting author’s name must be underlined. Email id and mobile number should be provided.
- Along with the abstract the authors should submit the following:
- Forwarding letter from the concerned Head of the Institute / Department with seal indicating that “the abstract submitted for consideration is an original research work of the first author”.
- RIGHTS TO PUBLISH: In submitting the abstracts, the authors also grant the “HORMONE RHYTHM 2026, Davanagere” organizing committee the right to publish the abstract in the proceedings both in hard and electronic form.
- ACCEPTANCE: Presenting author shall be notified of the status of the abstract after being reviewed by the committee, by email. Authors selected for paper & poster presentation will be informed by 5th June 2026.
- Communication will only be made by email only on this regard. If accepted additional deadlines will be provided in the acceptance notification. All authors of accepted abstracts MUST confirm their acceptance.
- All abstracts will be peer reviewed.
- Scientific committee has full authority for selection/cancellation of paper & Poster

GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PREPARATION:
We expect well-articulated, expressive posters containing the crucial/key points of your research.
Your poster should typically have the following contents:
- Title (to be placed at the top center of the poster)
- Names of all authors with affiliations (corresponding author to be indicated, contact to be provided)
- Introduction – motivation, objectives, context
- Methods / Materials – theoretical models, experimental set up and procedures
- Results of the study supported by graphs, tables, etc.
- Discussion and conclusions – highlight the significance of the findings
- Acknowledgements and references.
